Aircraft Electronics Technician
The NCATT Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) certification is the standard credential for civilian avionics technicians. Recognized by airlines, MROs, and government agencies, the AET validates competency in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of aircraft electronic systems.
FAA-certificated Aviation Maintenance Technicians (A&P), avionics shop technicians, military avionics personnel transitioning to civilian work, and aerospace electronics students.
FAA A&P license or significant avionics experience strongly recommended. NCATT requires demonstrated work experience for certification.
